There haven't been too many chances over the years to purchase
licensed jars from professional sports teams, so it was exciting to come across The Memory Company on the
Past and Present's web site.
The company is producing licensed sports jars for various sports, but unfortunately it's just the same mold
just changing to the team colors with pocket team logo.
Although the jar is well-made, the design didn't ring any bells for me. The jars will
appeal to those that, for instance, are avid followers of a particular team, but wonder how many might choose to
purchase multiple jars of different teams.
I purchased jars for various family members who are avid followers for the Yankees and the Mets, but no others.
IF, for example, the football jars were a different design than the baseball jars, a few would have been added to our collection.
But when there are so many other new jars out there competing for my dollars, I'll pass on adding multiples of this jar.
Checking out the company web site, they do a lot of great designs -- if they ever do another cookie or candy jar, hopefully the design will
be more sports oriented, with different designs for the different sports!
