Crumbs from my jar....
Yes, another issue and only a week later, I'm going to experiment with sending short updates every Wednesday evening,
with the full newsletter once a month. Anyway, we'll see how it goes for the next few weeks. If you're new to the list,
all past newsletters can be found at online.
The only new jar this week is "supposed" to be a Buzz Lightyear plastic counter jar from Australia. I can't decide if
it's really Buzz or not. I'll have to give it the grandson test, e.g. not tell him what it's supposed to be
and see what he calls it.
I have a few requests below, hope you can help.
Until next time,
~barb

TOP TEN JAR LISTS
Are desperately needed. I've received a handful, but I know there are more collectors that have opinions.
Please take a few minutes and fill out the list, if you don't have ten -- send five or whatever.

NUT FINIAL COOKIE JAR
Would you believe this is one of the more popular jars and one most sought by non-collectors? Perhaps it's because
so many had the jars in their homes as child. And we know a jar has become popular when it starts appearing on
eBay as a McCoy jar with the McCoy name on the bottom. Yes, it's being sold as such!
The jars were made by several different companies, are in assorted sizes and I would like to document them
as much as possible. Why am I mentioning this? Because I need pictures of the jar. I am also looking for a scan of any advertisements
or scans you can share about this jar, for instance catalog sheets.

KEEBLER
It's only been about five years that I've promised myself to get my Keebler cookie jars online,
well it's finally done.
I believe I have most of the Keebler jars, except for two of the tree houses. If I'm missing anything that you can
share pictures of, please let me know.

FITZ & FLOYD
A month or so ago I was chatting with a Fitz & Floyd person and they mentioned that the company web site
was in the process of being redone. Well, sometimes companies exaggerate a bit, but apparently not this time.
The new look Fitz & Floyd web site has a clean look to it and appears to be easy to navigate so far. It looks like
there are few things missing and perhaps not finished, but overall -- Good Job F & F!
There are several jars on sale, but I especially liked these two little candy jars that were about 2/3 off.
