Crumbs from my jar....
It's been an extremely frustrating week for me. I am having mega-computer problems that appear to be Cox related,
mostly because two computers that are not networked together are having identical problems. I've even given up responding
to emails today, because many of them are apparently not going out. And, to continue my whine, it's taken me hours
to do what normally takes thirty minutes. In fact if it wasn't for a free trial offer from AOL, I wouldn't be getting
anything done. So if you are expecting a reply from me and haven't gotten it, send it again!
I do believe I have responded to everyone who has sent in their favorite jar lists -- keep those lists coming!
And thanks to those who have replied about the Mrs. Potts jar, I just might have to get one now.
Have a great Memorial Day Weekend, I am hoping by the time the weekend is over the computer problems will
either be solved or I'll be looking at other alternatives!
Until next time,
~barb

MARY POPPINS JAR
The last batch of Disney Mary Poppins jars went for a little over $70., a batch of 25 jars. I believe this makes
125 jars out of 350 that have been sold by Disney Auctions.
MRS. POTTS FROM DISNEY
Cheryl, Tamra and Ellen all agree about the Disney Mrs. Potts jar. They all thought it was really nice, much better detailed than the
Treasure Craft jar, they like the gold. And of course this one has the added bonus of Chip next to Mrs. Potts.
From Tamra: "I think the gold trim replacing the yellow really makes it look much nicer. The new one is larger and the eyes are so much more detailed. Even the pink
and blue colors merge together much better on the base. I am sorry to say the new one makes the original look a bit plain."

COOKIE JAR BRINGS MEMORIES
Many collectors collect because of the memories. The memory of the jar on the kitchen counter while growing up, or
perhaps it was grandma's jar that was always filled with wonderful treats. Years later, when seeing that jar in a shop or online, it becomes a
must-have. And sometimes it spawns a collection. Read about how a jar traveled around the family before settling home.
