Crumbs from my jar....
This week we only have one new subscriber -- Welcome! Note all past newsletters may be viewed on
The Cookie Jar Net.
http://thecookiejar.net
Although I've been pretty busy this past week, I don't have too much to show for it -- EXCEPT for the first
time in three weeks my Internet access is working pretty good. Thanks to Jonathan, my son's friend, for finally coming
over figuring it all out. It was a combination of problems and I still don't know why it works now -- but I am just accepting it.
The news is a little sparse this week -- if you have any collector or jar news, please share! And don't forget to send in those
top ten lists.
I'm not sure if I'll be publishing an issue next Wednesday, I'll be going out of town that day and it will depend on
how much I can do before hand, probably not much!
Until next time,
~barb

KELLOGG'S STAR WARS
Darth Vader finally arrived about ten days after the other two jars. I'm not completely impressed with it, but as I've
said before, for $6.95 we can't expect great stuff. BUT they are still definitely worth ordering.

JAY'S SALE
will end tomorrow night. Remember it's 40% off the price shown. There are some great bargains there, including
a Majorette jar, Pinky Lee and few other goodies.

WATT POLICEMAN JAR
There is one on sale right now on eBay. The seller contacted me earlier this week about the jar, it has a few
chips, but could be worth checking out. I am NOT authenticating the jar -- I've just seen pictures. Make up your own
mind before bidding and ask questions.

HAGEN-RENAKER PRACTICAL PIG
This jar is up for auction on Hakes.com this month. I don't know if I've ever seen one for sale before.
It's a great jar and I think I could give it a good home if I could only afford it!

ADVERTISING ICONS #5
This week's grand old lady has been around since 1936 and is still a popular product icon. If you see her, you know
exactly what company she represents. And I do have a few of the cookie jars that represent her.

PILLSBURY WANNA COOKIE JAR
I got my Pillsbury Wanna Cookie jar, available from the Pillsbury web site. It's an okay jar, but much bigger
than I thought it would be. If you're an advertising collector, probably should check it out.

eBAY LIVE
Next week starts eBay Live 2005 and I'll in San Jose a week from now. If you are going, drop me a line, I would
love to see if we can get together. I will be meeting with a few category managers one-on-one, so if you have any
questions, let me now.

JAR PICTURES
I've received some great pictures from collectors to use on my jar index, but the past few weeks of computer/Internet
problems have really slowed me down a lot. Thanks for your help -- especially the Burns, they've sent quite a few pictures.
Also Bill Correll lets me use his eBay auction pictures -- thanks Bill.

METLOX LITTLE RED RIDING HOOD
I would like a good, clear picture of a Metlox Little Red Riding Hood jar and a Wisecarver Little Red Riding Hood (I might already
have this one, not sure). If you can help out, please email me.

Someone is looking for a Metlox white scotty and someone else is asking questions about a Shawnee Pig jar -- if you can help
out, pop over there!
