 Cookie Jar Collector Pewter Pin
You can try to win this pin on my current contest over on the About Site or you can buy it now.

This is a Limited Edition pewter pin using the Shawnee Smiley as inspiration. The pin is approximately 1 3/8" high and has a "pin-back" as opposed to a costume jewelry back.

Proclaim your love for cookie jars while also helping support this newsletter! Price is $9. which includes shipping, (but not insurance). If you want to add insurance or want more than one pin, please email me.

Halloween Jars -- Hobby Lobby Cat
Hope you're ready for the holiday seasons to start, we'll be getting overwhelmed with new ideas and products. Although there are already quite a few pieces out, I thought I would start with this Halloween Cat found at the local Hobby Lobby store. The price is $20. It's a jar with an attitude and had to come home with me. Hobby Lobby also has a Witch jar (whimsical), a Witches Boot jar -- similar to one that was out last year, two different scarecrows and several pumpkin jars, at least one realistic jar.

Send as a FREE email card or to see larger image (as well as back).

 Halloween Jars - Dancing Ghosts
This jar is plentiful at the Tuesday Morning stores (as of this week). Price is around $15. It's extremely well made and the manufacturer is not shown. Anyone know who made it??

Send as a FREE ecard or see larger/other views.

 September AuctionS
Yes, that is plural. Two Cookie Jar Auctions are scheduled for September in Missouri. One in Freeman and the other in Cape Giradeau!

Yep, the jar shown here is the one that got a $6750. bid in July.

 Crumbs from my Jar!
Chat Tonight -- last week we had an Elvis Vigil & Trivia Contest. Bev Sutton won with her astounding knowledge of the King.

This week we want to know -- What Do You Keep in Your Jars! I want to know the most unusual thing you keep -- I know what Rich Clark wants to eventually use his Alfano Wizard jar for... but you'll have to ask him that yourself.

So what do you keep in your jars? Anything interesting?
(Thanks to Skee for this question.) Come to chat and tell us.

Until next time,
bc

Chat Thursday Night -- 9 PM Central

Every reader (until next newsletter comes out) that can tell me the name of the current article on my About Site. http://collectibles.about.com -- will be entered in a drawing for a Humpty Dumpty Pin.
