Normally this would not be going out until later in the month, but I wanted to give you all a chance to take advantage of a special offer.
FuntoCollect.com is a favorite website of mine to browse. It has everything I like to collect -- Raggedy Anns, and of course Cookie Jars!
They are having a 10% off sale until 10/25, plus if you order over $75. there is even free shipping. Quite a deal! Check before for the code and more information.
And contrary to the belief around here -- I was not the inspiration for that Barbie on eBay. If you haven't seen it -- it's really worth checking out!
or maybe I should say pretty darn ugly ones, then check out the Dr. FInklestein jar from NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS on FuntoCollect.com. It will win any ugly jar contest, no competition. But we all know how valuable those strange ones wind up being.
Fun To Collect, as mentioned above, has a 10% sale until 10/25 for their newsletter subscribers. Plus free shipping over $75. Obviously this sale extends to all their products in stock, not just this jar!
I asked if this sale could be extended to Cookie Jar Digest Subscribers and was given a go-ahead. So, if you want to take advantage of the sale...
Upon entering the code "FTC1025" in the coupon box at checkout, a 10% discount will be applied to your entire order. You may also place phone orders and use the code above. Sorry, the coupon cannot be applied towards presell items or previous purchases.
The Danbury Mint Catalog shows several fun Doughboy collectibles. But as we all know, if they carry it, it's probably a bit expensive. The Doughboy Cookie Jar and matching platter is really pretty cute, but the set sells for $119. The jar is 12" tall and the plate is 14" diameter.
Item #DBK02 I will have larger images and more information later this week on the website. 1 80 305-9075
And I cannot find a web presence for Danbury other than their sports items.
And just a little more affordable than the above jar, are the new M & M jars. Identical to the smaller candy jars -- but much bigger. Jars come in Red, Yellow and Blue, selling for $19.95.
have been added to the Holiday 2002 index. Check it out when you have a chance. Note, the links to some of the larger websites, e.g. Disney may need you to use the search box once you get to the site.
