 Crumbs from my jar. . . .
It's been a busy few weeks around the Crews House, I'm usually just about finishing up the holiday decorating and this year I've not started yet! And just in case you are wondering why.. we have a new grandson who arrived 10/22 and has just about worn three adults out. (and I don't even see him everyday!) But enough personal stuff, onto jars . . . .

If your wallet hasn't already suffered enough this year, take a look at some of these new offerings.. AND if you are interested in selling some of your extra jars, Kent Mickelson is having his first Consignment Cookie Jar Auction in January. Maybe a chance to clean out your closets, shelves, garage, attic and storage space.

And lots more on Christmas jars in the next issue that will be sent out early next week

 Lots of M & M's
Looks like M & M wants to give Coke a run for their money on the number of jars being produced. "If" I wanted to get one of each color I would very quickly run out of money and room -- come to think of it, I've already run out of both.

There is still an M & M jar that is eluding me, I've seen an M & M Holiday house, NOT the Halloween one, on eBay and would love to know where to find that jar.

 Collectible Shopping at Walmart
Yeah, I know it's the store I love to hate. But they sure have a lot of licensed jars this year. Scooby Doo, Coke, Mickey Mouse, and so much more. The retail prices on these jars are so low, it has to be hurting cookie jar dealers that sell new jars and also buy them direct from the company.

There are several Oreo jars at Walmart, including a new house and a new bear. These are marked as part of a series of jars, totaling seven. Anyone have an Oreo jars that are part of the series? And what numbers??

BTW, the Coke can and vending machine are different versions than I already had, a bit smaller and made by Gibson.

 A Wild Santa Jar
My two favorite New Santa jars this year cannot be further apart. First is this one from Hammacher Schlemmer. It's a large jar and I love the way it looks. Best of all it's on sale on their website.

My other favorite will be pictured in the next issue. If you can guess what it is, let me know. First correct guess wins a Refrigerator magnet (Merla & Nancy cannot enter!) Hint -- it's not traditional Christmas Colors and very large.
