Welcome to the new subscribers! If you want to see some of the past issues of the newsletter, go to The Cookie Jar Net newsletter archives.

If you ordered the Pixieware jar early, like I did, you should have it soon. I am delighted with mine. The jar is finished very nicely, it's larger than I was expecting and overall -- a great look. I understand they were sold out of the first shipment, but more will be coming in a few months, so you can still order the jar by contacting Curt Blanchard.

Thanks to Nancy Legate for her answer and information on the Abingdon Hippo. I've updated the page it's on, in the Junk or Jewel Index.

Since the last issue, there have been eight more requests on the Cookie Jar Net Wanted Bulletin Board.

More Information
 Cavanagh's Authorized Reproductions
I've been on the phone with Henry a few times over the past week to find out more about his new venture. If you've always wanted a Cavanagh jar and couldn't quite afford one, check out these new China pieces. I just received the one I bought, Speedy Taxi, and it's terrific. Check your favorite cookie jar dealer, or you can also direct from Henry. He also has Artist Proofs available.

 Auction Lists 1997 - 2003
In my quest to make the web site easier to navigate, I've been reorganizing, etc. This week the task has been redoing the auction price lists. Starting back in May 1997 till January 2003, each one is linked to a printable page. If you have any auction lists to add -- I'd be a happy camper.

So take a look back at what jars actually sold for a few years ago and compare with today's prices.

Joan Riba -- Give Me A Break!
As mentioned about -- reorganizing my web site, it's no small task with over 1500 pages on it. One article I "found" again was Joan Riba's Give Me A Break. It's been updated with new links.

 Catalog Sheet 1940
Recently I found this catalog ad on eBay, the jars were even less then I thought they would be.

If you have any old catalog sheets, ads, etc. to share, please help increase the online library. I don't need the originals -- a good scan will do.

Check it out!

 Lemon Meringue Pie Murder
For all you mystery fans, here is the latest Joanne Fluke book. I'm sure you remember Hannah, owner of The Cookie Jar Bakery? She is at it again, solving another murder, meanwhile baking up tempting cookies.
