    Crumbs from my jar....

Welcome to our SEVENTEEN new subscribers, if you know someone who collects jars, please tell them about this newsletter.

Lots of goodies this week, especially if you're a Disney Collector. You might as well get ready to spend $$, 'cause you're sure to be tempted.

PLEASE, PLEASE vote in the eBay Polls. I went out to an eBay Collectibles Summit in September and met lots of folks in charge of the areas we are interested in. They really seemed to care what the participants had to say and it'll be interesting to see if our input has any direct results. I also really had the feeling that they don't think the fraud/repro issue is as bad as we do, although I was pleased to learn there are over 500 eBay employees that deal directly with different fraud issues. I have a few short articles up on the Collectibles site now and more will follow.

Participants included Kovels, Harry Rinker, Krause Publications, Wizard World, Country Home, Playthings, Maine Antique Digest, Antique Week, Antiques & Collecting Magazine, Giftware News and Pioneer Communications.

eMail Problems -- YIKES! Since I typically get about 500 email messages a day, I didn't notice any slowdown. Well, apparently one setting got changed and some messages were not getting through. I finally got it figured out when an alert eBay seller tracked me down when his emails to me were bouncing. THANKS CHRIS! When I got it straightened out, I had an additional 4000 messages to deal with -- just from a few weeks. Oh well. If you sent me something that I should have responded to, please re-send the note. It probably was in that huge pile!

Hobby Lobby has the Christmas ceramics (including jars) at 50% off this week. I haven't been there in a few weeks, but I did see the Figi Wanted snowman at the time. Check it out, most likely there will be more new pieces out.

    Until next time,
    ~barbara

    eBay Polls
PLEASE VOTE! If you enjoy receiving this newsletter I am asking a favor of you. No, you don't have to send money but you have to vote in an eBay Poll. I do have contacts of a few of the folks that matter at eBay and I think they listen. What I would like to do is put up a few polls over the next month of topics that matter to us -- as collectors. And I assure you they will see what you think, of course if they do anything is another story. But I will not pass the poll results along if I only get a dozen or so responses. Numbers do matter! If you have any additional comments or topics you would like covered, please send them along to me.
