Cookie Jar News has been pretty slow this month, but that's usually the case. Don't worry with the Markets starting up in two weeks,
lots of news will be forthcoming!
Meanwhile I hope your holidays are going well and that you get lots of new jars for
Chanukah and Christmas! (And I hope they're jars that you want!)
Sometimes when folks know you're a collector of cookie jars, they'll give you all sorts of "unusual jars" that they
are sure you'll want. Our old Cookie Jar Chat group used to have a White Elephant jar swap before the holidays, maybe
we should think about an after the holidays Jar Swap. What do you think??
The Bulletin Boards have been intermittently attacked by spammers. It's almost impossible to keep them away, but
I am hoping to have a solution during January. Meanwhile, please ignore those notes.

An oldie, but still a goodie, a few of my favorites! It's a cookie jar every day for December.
I'll have to update it before next year, as there are certainly quite a few additions to my favorite
list.

Really a terrific jar now on eBay from Disney Auctions. This is the first offering of 175, the second offering
will be in early January. Starting price is a little higher $65, but the design looks pretty involved.

Unfortunately I missed the note from Disney on these jars and found them towards the end of the auction.
(A good reason to subscribe to Cookie Crumbs). There were two prototypes sold -- an all white Pumba, the prototype
of Hook's Cookie Jar and the regular limited edition of Timon & Pumbaa. I expect Timon & Pumbaa to go on sale again
since there were quite a few left that didn't sell. If I find out in time for the newsletter, I'll let you know.

I have seen this jar sold for less on eBay, BUT you can't beat Overstock's shipping costs. A few weeks ago
there was a $1. shipping special, that's not valid at this writing. But regular shipping is only $2.95!
