Crumbs from my jar....

Greetings!

Happy Valentine's Day! Of course I've sent you a card from my favorite place, Jacquie Lawson cards!
You can view your card here.

Are you on Facebook? I recently joined it (my son is shaking his head!) and I think it's a great way to keep in touch with groups of family and friends and of course, keep tabs on those wild parties our kids attend. In fact I think we should start a collecting group. So if you're on Facebook or decide to join, let me know and let's get connected!

I'm sure you've noticed I'm trying to go back to the old way these newsletters were originally published. Would you rather get the newsletter like this OR would you rather have a link to the web site and read it there? This is a test and we'll see how it goes for the next few issues.

A reader mentioned that it was hard to find out how to email me. Sorry about that, I'll be sure to include my email on each issue. (Well okay, I'll try to REMEMBER to include it!)

Read on . . .

FUN COOKIE JAR POLLS!
For the next few months I'll have a series of JUST FOR FUN polls up on favorite classic cookie jars and jar companies. It's simple, just pick your favorite out of the two cookie jar companies in the poll
What's Your Pick #2?

Find out who is ahead in last issue's poll, Little Red Riding Hood vs Shawnee Smiley Poll (#1)! It's been pretty close with one jar leading the entire time until the last day or two. We have a new leader.

McCOY MAMMY JARS --AAARRGGHH
About a week ago I did an quick survey on eBay for McCoy Mammy cookie jars. Out of 50 listed, only THREE were authentic. And I'm wasn't even sure about one of those! I also noticed this week that two of those fake jars sold for over $400. each.

COOKIE JAR RESOURCES
A few jars have been added to the Cookie Jar Resource pages, but I'm always looking for more pictures to use. Right now I'd like to find a good picture of the Purinton Howdy Doody jar. Can anyone help?
