Continuing on with the cookie jar polls, this month's poll
is two companies that produce lots of seasonal jars.

There are several "wants" on the cookie jar forums, jars that should not be too hard to find, such as a
Twin Winton, a tropical Santa and Mills Bakery jar (that I'm not sure what it is). Also a few folks are
selling jars, so check it out.

I found this old link on my site and decided to highlight it again. I really need some help here and
would appreciate all you clever folks out there helping out. This van needs to be seen to be believed,
but I did get a few good pictures of it. But what I want to know -- what's your caption?

You have to act fast, but if you buy a jar from Retromodern.com by March 31st, they'll throw in a box
of Thin Mints. The two jars are costly, but cool. The Bunny jar is a Japanese animation style,

McCOY COOKIE JARS BY HAROLD NICHOLS
Offered for $699. on eBay right now. I don't know whether to say WOW or OUCH.
I've seen both versions of the book, book bound and spiral bound, for sale at fairly high prices over the
years. BUT if you keep an eye out for it, you'll find it at what I consider a comfortable price. I found an
issue last year for under $100.
WISCONSIN AUCTION
There's an auction this weekend in Eau Claire, WI, but I'm not sure just how many jars there are.
It was a major pain to just find out where the pictures are, so take a look and see what you think.
But don't bid on the McCoy Little Red Riding Hood!

I got a note from Ben Glenn "I am selling 60+ vintage jars from my collection next month (April).
Included are excellent examples by American Bisque, Brush, McCoy, Abingdon and more. Most are in pristine condition, and several retain their original labels. The auction will be conducted by Laughlin Auctions in Virginia, most likely at the Shenandoah County Fairgrounds in Woodstock, VA."

The Cinderella Castle and Tinker Bell crock style jar are on sale at Disney for less than half price!
Meanwhile Nancy alerted me to this adorable 101 Dalmations jar that has been for sale in the Disney Stores.

When Disney re-releases a movie from their vaults, they typically offer movie merchandise. A visit to the Disney stores in March found an assortment of toys, plush and a bright red 101 Dalmatian cookie jar for the 101 Dalmatians release.

A cookie jar collection brings a smile to everyone's face, whether young or old. Many are taken back to their grandma's kitchen with the smell of cinnamon wafting in the air and the selection of that one "perfect" cookie taken carefully from her cookie jar.
