Famous Nameless Chocolate Chip Cookies

Easy and Fun, but time consuming!

1 box yellow cake mix (18 oz) 2 envelopes Dream Whip Powder 1 cup mayonnise

2 packages chocolate chips (12 oz each) 1 1/2 cup coarsely chopped pecans

Preheat oven to 400 degress Beat cake mix with Dream Whip powder, add mayonnaise. Mixture will be dry and crumbly. Stir in chips and pecans -- dough will be stiff, but will smooth out. Shape dough into 1 inch balls and place on ungreased cookie sheets -- 2" apart. Bake for 12 - 14 minutes until light golden brown. Cool on baking sheets for five minutes, then place on paper towel lined wire racks to finish cooling. NOTE: These cookies will be "greasy" right after they are baked, hence the paper towel lined racks. Cookies taste best when completely cool, this is one cookie that isn't tasty when it's still warm from the oven. This batch makes makes quite a few cookies!
