Spicy Sausage Bread

This is a VERY unusual bread. It's a bit yucky looking to make, but is a tasty addition to your brunch menu.
I've given out the recipe numerous times!

1 cup raisins
1 lb hot (raw) breakfast sausage
1 1/2 cups brown sugar
1 1/2 cups white sugar
2 eggs
1 cup chopped pecans

3 cups flour
1 tsp ginger
1 tsp pumpkin pie spice
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1 cup cold coffee

Simmer raisins (in water to cover) for five minutes, then drain.
Mix raw sausage, brown sugar, white sugar and eggs together.
Stir in nuts and raisins
Blend coffee and baking soda together, set aside.
Mix flour, spices and baking powder together.
Blend coffee and flour mixtures into the sausage mixture.
Pour into a well greased/floured 9" tube pan.
Bake at 350 for 90 minutes.
Good served with cream cheese or apple butter.
